He never stopped in his quest for fairness and giving a voice of the voiceless.

As the founder of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, he improved the lives of millions of people. He charted the course for the United States to elect its first Black president and opened the doors for countless other African American elected officials, while working tirelessly to register people to vote.

Rev. Jackson left his mark on history as a civil rights pioneer, fiery preacher, political trailblazer, and compassionate humanitarian. He dedicated his life to economic justice, racial equality, and promoting peace.

It was the honor of a lifetime to last see Reverend Jesse Jackson when he visited the Pennsylvania Capitol in 2024. I am truly saddened to lose such a titan but so grateful for his legacy of fighting for freedom.

Today, let’s remember that loving Pennsylvania means standing up for our neighbors. Love is action today and every day. ❤️ #HappyValentinesDay #MadamSpeaker #PAHouse
