More books should be movies instead of TV shows/limited series BUT “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” is the exception. It should be a limited series — specifically one made by Patrick Somerville and Hiro Murai

I miss Dickinson
Seeing all of the Waymos parked in the Television City parking lot creeps me out. It looks like they’re all plotting something.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 teaser using Childish Gambino’s “Lithonia” makes it feel like it was specifically made for me.
Thrilled years of me wearing my “NOMINATE DELROY LINDO YOU COWARDS” T-shirt from Super Yaki finally paid off
honestly slightly more preferable to a human thinking this would be a good move.
Why is Disney+ promoting Law & Order with an edited photo of Timothy Busfield in one episode from 2010?
Chance the Rapper’s cover of the Arthur theme song still hits 12 years later
I’m so annoyed that The Testament of Ann Lee soundtrack doesn’t drop until Jan 16. I want it now.
Don’t ask me why I’m watching Red One, but I’ve realized this would’ve been so much better if it was a Psych episode/movie.
A podcast reminder for the Sunday evening crowd!

HOUSE MD would’ve done an unhinged episode about a patient laying an egg.

American Vandal guys are an EXCELLENT choice for this show. However, I don’t know if they’ll be able to top this:
Maryland’s best exports:
1. The Wire
2. Maggie Rogers
3. “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out”
it would be nice if billionaires would eradicate childish folly from themselves
me watching a Dropout show over @laurenpiester.com’s shoulder: Oh that guy was in Rachel Bloom’s Sugar Ray jukebox musical
…which is a totally normal thing to remember
I think what stands out to me most is the trust it placed in its audience (which, again, was primarily children!) only bothered with origins when it made for a good story. Continuity didn’t matter but shared history among its characters did. Wonderful economy, told all you needed to know in moments

Holy Mackerel!
To everyone who has joined us at the Draft Table, or listened at home / on a run / in the car / on a space station / etc, THANK YOU. We wouldn't be here without you. 🍸
The dissonance between saying you want to focus on Hollywood and laying off experts like Anthony Breznican and David Canfield is truly baffling. Fuck this news.

I mean, not no!
Excellent choice. Currently repping POI (and other things) on my work laptop
The Good Wife/Fight deal with the evils—or Evils—of big tech better than any shows on TV. The Kings taking on the subject directly is a delicious prospect.
Mike Colter joining @robertking.bsky.social and Michelle King’s new show Cupertino is legitimately good news.

We all need to shame TPTB for shooting Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the UK instead of in NYC
I’m so glad STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS is back. It’s genuinely one of my favorite shows and the Season 3 premiere was great.
I really liked SUPERMAN (2025). Brosnahan is a winning Lois Lane. Seeing The Daily Planet’s CMS legitimately made giddy. Corenswet is Superman. boxd.it/E9IU
Not to be earnest on main but I’m genuinely excited to see SUPERMAN this week.
