Thinking about how many characters in the LoTR ultimately succeed by simply plodding on despite a loss of hope. Weighed down by despair and yet not fully drowned. Trudging towards the light with their last ounce of strength and will. And in the end, it is enough.

Wow! I so feel that! Book Fair was something I looked forward to and waited for all year! And I’d save up money for it, too. Then, beg my mom for more. Oh, and when I started teaching, I got to go to book fairs again!! It was divine.
Those of us that didn’t vote for this are losing our minds with worry. Every day is a new nightmare and all we can do is protest. I’m supposed to be focused on teaching students right now! Congress and SCOTUS have abandoned us. Even the good ones seem to be AWOL right now. It’s ridiculous.

A lot of phones are being banned in schools, as an educator, I’d go with YouTube because almost all schools allow teachers to use that platform.
Then do something about it! Stop making statements and act. American citizens have voted of no confidence in any of you right now. Fight for us!
Respectfully, Senator Sanders, the American people are worn out with Democratic statements. We demand action and representation. If your statement says nothing about impeachment, it is worthless to me and the citizens of the United States. Unbend the knee and fight for us. Please.

I’m not an influencer, a politician, or really anyone of consequence. I’m just an American citizen that is mad as hell that the country I love has sunk so low. I’m furious at our government for allowing this to happen.

I’m one of those people. Losing my sense of smell has been extremely hard on me. I miss the smell of fresh baked cookies and fresh cut grass. I’ve tried all the therapies and none of them work. What is most frustrating is I did everything right, got my vaccines every year, masked, social distanced.
It’s like the chances of being eaten by a shark on dry land level of chance they have.
The problem is, none of those people will be getting into heaven. They would be here for the years of strife trying to be forgiven. You have a better chance as an atheist to get into heaven than the proclaimed Christians creating all this havoc.
