I've been following this for a while, congrats on getting it merged! Can't wait to use it and I'll be thinking of you every time I will π
Gone are the days of my own crappy version.
@gravityforms.com feel free to take notes π I'm 100% sure you'd do a much better job at this than me.
Got annoyed, started coding, became happy. And I love sharing happiness so here you great #WordPress people go: www.robmigchels.com/blog/2026/ea...
Still some more work to do, but core/dialog and core/tabs both submitted for review!

I was today 1660 weeks old and learned the perfect life hack to avoiding web hosting fees; turn your WordPress website into static files and host them (for free!) on @cloudflare.social, Kinsta, or any of the 100s of providers. Bonus points: hella safe and hella fast!
Does it have metric measurements?
It's insane to me that a park run has 500+ attendees. Ours get like a hundred on a busy day π

Why I 𧑠the web.

Just draw the fish. Trust me. π
Bill Gates met Linus Torvalds for the first time.
One built an empire by selling software.
The other built a revolution by giving it away.
First day back in the office after #WCEU. So many things to come back to, meetings to set, links and recommendations to check out...
I'm definitely missing all those lovely #WordPress peeps around me!
GenerateBlocks is also great! At least, for me. I do think it offers too many options for our less tech-savvy content creators π
Query Monitor, Gravity Forms & Block Visibility!
I've had this happen to me a handful of times. During that first phone call I will help them, but also let them know to call me on my business line. "I don't monitor this phone as much (lol I do)". After that, I just never pick them up again and call them back when I feel like on my business line

Query Monitor! It's got so many useful features. I could do a whole talk about how many times it's been incredible. From checking on transients to finding and fixing errors and even benchmarking.
Wow. π
Why is a8c matching who they perceive to be the worst in the space?
Why is βcommunityβ in quotes?
I continue to be really disappointed in Mattβs decisions, rhetoric, and stubbornness.
This post has the opposite effect itβs intending I think.

What happened to mediors these days? Apparently you're either a junior or a senior these days. If you ask me, 4 years of experience does not make you a senior nor a junior.
The wonderful @nickdiego.com made something for it, but it has to be implemented in core if you ask me π€£ β nickdiego.com/enabling-lin...
Friday morning? Go for it!
Friday afternoon? Hell no.
If you're deploying changes that take longer than an afternoon to fix if they're broken, you need to split up your deployments.
I constantly deploy minor changes on Fridays, never regretted it.
I love the lists, it's how I find most WP people and got introduced to some (yourself including) on here.
CSS Wrapped 2024 is here!
Just like last year, we β the Chrome DevRel team β have published CSS Wrapped, our end of year overview of all the new #CSS and Web UI features that landed in Chrome and The Web Platform in 2024.
π chrome.dev/css-wrapped-... is the place to be!
I would love to see them merged with core instead. This plugin in particular has been out for ages and is well tested.
I can't decide, either icons inside buttons or linkable groups!
Steam Deck going brrrrrrr
How have I never heard of this before. Am I correct in assuming it works like Wappalyzer, but it's open source instead? What's the recognition quality like?
