I was today 1660 weeks old and learned the perfect life hack to avoiding web hosting fees; turn your WordPress website into static files and host them (for free!) on @cloudflare.social, Kinsta, or any of the 100s of providers. Bonus points: hella safe and hella fast!

One built an empire by selling software.
The other built a revolution by giving it away.

I've had this happen to me a handful of times. During that first phone call I will help them, but also let them know to call me on my business line. "I don't monitor this phone as much (lol I do)". After that, I just never pick them up again and call them back when I feel like on my business line

Query Monitor! It's got so many useful features. I could do a whole talk about how many times it's been incredible. From checking on transients to finding and fixing errors and even benchmarking.

Aligning Automattic’s Sponsored Contributions to WordPress Automattic has always been deeply committed to the success of WordPress, dedicating significant resources and talent to its development for almost two decades. However, we’ve observed an imbalance …

Wow. πŸ˜‘

Why is a8c matching who they perceive to be the worst in the space?

Why is β€œcommunity” in quotes?

I continue to be really disappointed in Matt’s decisions, rhetoric, and stubbornness.

This post has the opposite effect it’s intending I think.

What happened to mediors these days? Apparently you're either a junior or a senior these days. If you ask me, 4 years of experience does not make you a senior nor a junior.

Friday morning? Go for it!
Friday afternoon? Hell no.

If you're deploying changes that take longer than an afternoon to fix if they're broken, you need to split up your deployments.

I constantly deploy minor changes on Fridays, never regretted it.
