I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Griff going into the story and I had already loved Pauline, but man. What a great book. I need to go reread this serious for the umpteenth time.

That’s a different Tessa Dare book! “Say Yes to the Marquess” from the Castles Ever After series. THAT book is probably my absolute favorite from her, and absolutely because of “cake sounds”.

Today was a day where I got to help a new ELAR teacher with some lesson/text analysis advice and it was a good moment for me as well, because I often don’t give myself enough credit for the expertise I’ve developed. I AM good at my job, and I CAN help others!

As many times as I have read this book, a scene like that is not coming back to me…but it IS the one where my dude has a boner on page one. And he’s just met her.

I met Cartel tonight, got to tell them about the half of a drumstick I have from their show back in 2009, heard Chroma played in its entirety, and collected a 2025 Cartel drumstick story (this time, one pegged me in the forehead!!! but I didn’t catch it). Successful evening indeed!!!

Also…I might have collected a lot of book boyfriends, but when it comes down to it…Sir Ross Cannon is my Book Husband. Madame Kleypas did her big one with him!!!
