Ich denke es macht keinen Unterschied welche App Du verwendest. PDS ist bei eurosky.social in Europa. Moderationsinfrastruktur wird aber nach wie vor von Bluesky bereitgestellt, genauso wie die Identitäts-Infrastruktur über die Du gefunden werden kannst. Aber Deine Daten sind immerhin mal in der EU.

Deine Daten kannst Du während des Transfers gleichzeitig lokal sichern d.h. sie würden auch nicht verloren gehen wenn EuroSky schließen würde. bzw. könntest Du ggf. dann halt einfach zu einem weitern Host Übersieden. Und man munkelt ja, dass auch "W Social" die AT-Protokoll verwenden wird.

There are several alternative apps that support the AT Protocol and are compatible with EuroSky (or other AT Protocol instances like BlueSky).

EuroSky operates its own AT Protocol infrastructure in Europe. The goal is to ensure that the AT network as a whole is not controlled by a single company (such as BlueSky PBC).

This is the purpose of the AT Protocol. Otherwise, it would not be possible to interact with others outside the EU using using AT-Proto. What is posted here (unless blocked by an instance) is distributed globally via AT Protocol. The only difference now is that my data originates from the EU.

That is inherent in the nature of things 😀

The difference is that MY data is now located within the EU and is not subject to arbitrary measures that violate data protection.
