Cuomo Loses Another $675,000 as Mamdani Lands Major Endorsement

Proud of my NYC Working Families Party fam for making this big decision.

@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social is closing in. That’s because he is crystal clear he is here to fight for the working class, not corporate power.

As NYWFP works to consolidate support around its slate of candidates, we're proud to rank @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social #1 πŸ₯³

To give voters clear guidance, we're ranking a full slate of 5 candidates. When we unite, we can defeat Cuomo & elect a mayor who fights for us. Let's get this done!

Moving From Lists to Leaders What Democrats and progressives should learn from organizing, in time for 2026

Not news to many in my network - but a message to the donorverse that currently funds the consultant industrial complex perpetuated by the Democratic Party and it's...consultants! And of course, a refresher if you need it: Organizing is the anecdote to authoritarianism. Please follow and share.

Hochul May Face a Challenger She Knows Well: Her Lieutenant Governor Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado has begun to carve out his own political path, potentially putting him on a collision course with his boss, Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Well alright! πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

Opinion: The NY Working Families Party proves vital in 2024 Over and over again, the WFP has made the difference in close races.

Read & share my new Op-Ed in @cityandstateny.bsky.social about the vital roll of the @nywfp.bsky.social and why NY’s Democratic elite need to stop punching left and start fighting for the multiracial #workingclass #VoteWFP!

Private Insurers Must Now Cover Dyslexia Testing in New York (Gift Article) Gov. Kathy Hochul signed into law a first-in-the-nation bill requiring insurance companies to cover costs associated with dyslexia diagnoses.

Early screening and insurance coverage for diagnostics is LIFE CHANGING for so many students & Families.

Thank you @bradhoylmansigal.bsky.social & Assembly member Robert Carroll!

North Carolina G.O.P. Wants to Disqualify Ballots in One of State’s Tightest Races One of the closest state elections in North Carolina history now hinges on the latest power struggle between state Republicans and Democrats β€” and a voter form dating back 20 years.

So...does the GOP also think we should throw out every election result of the past 20 years in NC? These people are totally out of control. Voter suppression at it's worst. The sorest of losers. #votingrights #northcarolina

But not "fusion voting" specifically - where multiple parties can have the same candidate on their line and the votes are combined (ala NY & CT only right now). I think fusion is one great structural reform. But just one of many answers! No silver bullets!

The populist manifesto Strategist Waleed Shahid lays out the future for a Democratic Party that can win

A solid choice for my first Bluesky post!

EXCELLENT analysis and path ahead by @waleedshahid.bsky.social. I only wish he mentioned fusion/multi-party as additional, necessary structural (aka power building) democracy reforms!

Read and implement friends!!
