As for Mr. Diamanté himself, yeah I think he is kind of gross, lol. On the other hand, we know that the collective attempts to ingratiate itself to the unconnected people. It chose Zosia specifically to appeal to Carol so it's possible that they might similarly manipulate Mr. Diamanté.
If we accept at face value that the memories and personalities of all these people are preserved and they act with a collective consensus then I think it's also fair to accept their consent. They are shown to be protective of each other and likely would not enable Mr. Diamanté in harming them.
It's an interesting question and I think by design there isn't an easy answer to it. If we think of them as individuals whose bodies are being puppeted by an invasive consciousness then they definitely could not be considered as consenting participants in anything that their bodies are made to do.

Hell yeah, dude. I got Ys-pilled the first time I heard that Sunshine Coastline song from Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA. I only played a couple hours of that game when it was on PS+ but it left a good impression. Last year I played Ys I & II on my Vita and they were surprisingly fun. The music rips!

I never kept up with Pokémon past the first anime and Gen 1&2 games but Pokopia has been absolutely delightful so far. It did something in the first couple hours that felt laser targeted towards 90s kids who grew up with Pokémon and it really hit for me. Keep an ear out for loud noises and IYKYK.

Started a new run in Breath of the Wild tonight so I could have the first blood moon trigger during the actual lunar eclipse IRL. This will be my 4th run after playing at launch on the Wii U and later on the Switch and then again in Master Mode. The 60 FPS Switch 2 upgrade is just fantastic!
