Zoning alone won't make all land as valuable as these plots beside Alliance theater, such that a condo with a tiny fraction of an acre is nearly five million. But even mere SFH subdivisions only occur if a developer pays more than a single buyer. We need development other than corporate offices.
I don't know about the art, but one of these dense midtown condos is selling for 4.8MM.
The claims about it being politically difficult in #SandySprings to subdivide are true. But a more useful question is, how many homeowners would like a politician to increase their property value through zoning?
These robots are viable in places that are too dangerous to bike. We need safer bike paths yesterday, but until then if a driver hits a robot nobody is hurt.
I've seen Chick-fil-A robots on sharrows, which I far prefer to their cars where the drivers can be speeding or looking at their phones.
