Genuinely thinking about going back to tumblr; while the nsfw ban is annoying and somewhat restricting, it's still one of the better websites in terms of longevity of posts, and customisation. :/

Made an #inktober art challenge for work, and yesterday's prompt was "armour". Been doing some light sketching each day, and it's nice to be back into creative stuff! So far 3/4 entries contain cats.

I miss studying literature so much lmao. I love my job and I am so happy I'm still in academia, BUT the vibes of reading and analysing poetry and classic lit... undefeated, perfection, tickles my brain in ways few other things do

On the plus side, I'm back to reading in my spare time ✨

infallible might not be the right word. Humanity is flawed. Always has been, always will be. But at least there used to be *hope*, and reason to believe that above all, societies are built on trust, kinship, and care.

idfk man. I just feel empty.

What's so insanely upsetting about everything going on, is that the trust I've had in governments, world leaders, organisations, the naive notion that humanity as a whole is infallible because empathy always prevails - it's all gone.

I used to be hopeful, but now? not so much.
