Could you write a iPad specific app so it’s not so little on the screen.

Ah yes, the Norway bathrooms. I loved them and used them. Of course the Norway Pavilion was much better!

When you are asked what DCA stands for and of course you say Disney’s California Adventure, think again! It also stands for Disney Commuter Assistance! Yet another free handout of this smart cooler bag from many years ago. I saw it just now next to my desk so I guess we are still using it.

Thank you for this video. It was very interesting and entertaining. Oops.

WD40 is named after taking 40 attempts to get the formula for Water Displacement lubricant correct. Vick's Formula 44 cough syrup similar story. You have tried three times to have a conversation with someone or three times to accomplish some task and have failed. My advice, try again.

Watched this 3 times and a think I have an idea what he did. Brilliant game of human nature.

This is funny and scary all at the same time.

Great story. I never knew about Walt’s comment about the cereal. I liked the name but now I’m not sure. I remember that stupid commercial as a kid!

Happy 626 day! I was having lunch yesterday with a fellow Imagineer at the Imagineering/Consumer Products Campus in Glendale. As we walked to the cafeteria in the β€œGC3” campus for Consumer Products, there was Stitch. These seemingly small things throughout the year add to the joy of working here.

What I love about these is it shows that the stuff you never thought you would use from school does have a purpose. Unless you are an Engineer and you do use this stuff all the time.

The Big Dino - Frank Mezzatesta

I wrote another chapter today on my website. This chapter about the Big Dino project. An attempt to make a big walking dinosaur to walk in the Park.

OK I am just having fun now. Longer version of my boring fake lecture. Gentleman in the front row has some reaction to this gibberish. I have no idea what I am saying...

If you look closely, there are two pipes coming out the front under the control boxes as the Dino did actually bump the wall to make it fall down.

Here is the first part of the source video of a demo we did for various Imagineers. The premise was I was giving a boring lecture then OMG the Big Dino knocks down the wall and starts for the people. It walked so slow, this was the creative way we thought to make an impact on those in attendance.

That’s me with a ponytail on the left as we lower the Dino with the crane.

Great Picture with the late great John Paragon. He was wonderful in his role.

Lucky the Dinosaur was a world traveler starting at Disney's California Adventure in 2003 and in 2005 visited Animal Kingdom. Here is his pin commemorating his visit. I include a picture loading Lucky on the truck at Imagineering for his trip to Florida. Note his decorations changed before opening.

I am very happy today as I received an email via my website from the son of an Imagineer I wrote about recently. There is this wonderful part of the Internet that connects us to people we might never run across otherwise and that have wonderfully positive things to talk about.

This was fun to watch and not to hear from Josh D'Amaro but Josh Gorin there at the beginning.

But the rest IS real, a beautiful sunset yesterday looking toward the ocean in Ventura County.

Printed a picture of the sunset and my printer needed its head cleaned and aligned. The green lines were printed in error but makes it look like a laser lightshow at EPCOT.

Is it politically Okay to miss Splash Mountain? I worked on Walt Disney World's opening and rode it many times and enjoyed it each time. Riding it with only like four boats on the whole attraction so no one else was around you made it even more wonderful as it was all just for you!
