Big shoutout to @brigittabeck.bsky.social, who successfully defended her thesis last week! She put together an excellent study focused on IPV-related #TBI and #health #risk #behaviors among #community #women. She’s also the first grad student thesis I’ve chaired from start to finish. Very proud of my @mpwrlab.bsky.social students that won UCCS awards tonight for Outstanding Undergrad Student (Makenzie Baca), Outstanding PhD Student (@brigittabeck.bsky.social), & the Lee Becker Award (stats skills; Ellie McLane)! Big kudos to them and validation for all their hard work!
Yesterday, 3 of my MA students and 1 of my PhD students @brigittabeck.bsky.social gave an amazing symposium at #RMPA2025 in Denver! Had a packed room too!
Then, my 2 Senior Honors Thesis students presented posters on their preliminary results at their first conference!

Very fun & productive day with @mpwrlab.bsky.social collaborating with the STRESS Lab at URI. We split into 2 groups and wrote 2 Papers in 1 Day! Nice pre-conference activity in downtown Providence w/stellar doc students. Big thanks to @nicoleweiss.bsky.social and her team for organizing & hosting!
