I'll be ready for my next deckbuilder obsession by then!
Love some of the placeholder art. It's actually super cute.
Made it to the top on my first run! Playing at no ascension makes it such a breeze.
After about a month, my review for Code Vein II is finally up!
But was it worth taking a bite in this time travelling, vampiric Soulslike? Or should I have left it in the past?
Check out my review at @qualbert.com!

Well that's my next year sorted.
Was nice knowing you all. π
A survival horror where every single resource matters, right down to the blood in your veins. π©Έ
The debut title from Vermila Studios, answer to the Sun God as champion and fend for your life in Crisol: Theater of Idols.

The first game is so-so, starts off quite slow and is a bit too cutesy. The second game is absolutely brilliant, wonderful cast of characters, and surprisingly mature narrative. I'd skip the first and go straight for Wings of Ruin.
Same here - will never forget the moment I beat the PokΓ©mon League for the very first time. Felt unstoppable!
30 years of unforgettable memories. π
The latest game in the series, Pokopia, launches today, and to look back on the series, it's amazing to consider the influence that PokΓ©mon has had on so many of our lives.
Do you see your first ever PokΓ©mon game in this picture? Let me know which one it is!
Huge win for an incredible Aussie game! One of our favourites from PAX Aus last year. πͺ
Digging deeper into the characters and lore of its colourful sci-fi planet, indie studio @wishfully.bsky.social delivers a stellar follow-up.
Embark on a deep narrative without even a single word in Planet of Lana II. π

Return to Neva with this new DLC, a brief prequel to the visually-stunning title from @nomada.studio, the developer behind GRIS.
Is this prequel worth diving back into Neva's heart-warming yet harrowing world? Find out in our review.

Have a scroll back and you'll find some pretty weird stuff. Like me eating the box art of Sonic '06. An unforgettable moment.

Super proud to share that our YouTube channel just passed 1,000,000 views over the last year! π₯³
For a platform that was only ever intended to support our website, it's pretty awesome to see that the channel is doing surprisingly well.

A parasite is spreading across games media, and it's already claimed several of your favourite websites.
Brilliant article from @jacksonwryan.com on the atrocious practices of Clickout media, the fall of GamesHub, and why gambling (or "iGaming" - I hate that term) has its sights set on our sites.
The Boss died for this. ππ«‘

Can we send him to the US? Because it's clearly where he belongs.
Worth going for the true ending. There's soooooo much more to the game after you roll credits the first time.
Mewgenics is DONE! π
140 hours later and finally obtained the true ending. An absurd, immensely addictive tactics game from start to finish. Might hold up as one of the best indies ever made.
No doubt there will be more content in the future. But until then, all of my nights I'll be chasin' rats.
Here's a cozy indie game that will really grow on you. π±
With puzzles themed around gardening and plant growing, Tiny Garden has its roots in '90s nostalgia.

With news of more games media layoffs, this seems like a good time to share my Indie Games Media starter kit β itβs more important than ever that readers directly support their favourite publications and writers.
For the last 5 years, I have pitched to @metacritic.com for our reviews to be included. Despite having 400+ reviews and 15 human staff, we're knocked back each time.
To see Metacritic instead approves outlets that publish reviews written entirely by AI (with AI "writers") is beyond disappointing. π
The latest entry in Team Ninja's blood-drenched soulslike, Nioh 3 takes risks and mixes up the series formula.
With enhanced combat, extensive exploration, and enemies that don't hold back, this latest entry delivers the perfect balance of chaos and freedom.

It's the most wonderful garbage of the year! πΆ
