In Sonic IDW Tangle & Whisper mini series, Sonic The Hedgehog (who is actually Mimic The Octopus in disguise) tells Tangle The Lemur that he arrived at The Diamond Cutters old base using the Tornado, and Tails Prower is helping Whisper The Wolf fighting the Badniks outside. Aware that this is one of Mimic's lies, Tangle pretends to be convinced.

The "Only the kids like Animation" mindset is just as much a problem for the industry as the people who run it.
Frankly, the former mindset might in fact be what is used to justify having it be the focus of budgetary related cuts and layoffs.

And there it is, folks. Mask off.

Oscars voters: We're lazy, and we hate animation.

And this is a reason why I hate awards shows and can't take them seriously.

The Academy clearly has a bias against genre films as well as animation.

What exactly is the point of being a voter for big-name awards like this one then? Also this is obvious disrespect for the animation field.

This makes me feel so sad as someone who prefers animated movies and has loved animated movies as a kid. I hate the academy so much sometimes man

Who’s the childish one now? You guys have the job of judging them based on quality! Jeez! I thought after the previous Animated Feature winners we were past this.

Yet another reason why this category ends up with bias winners and why they created it in the first place because Beauty and The Beast competing with Best Picture noms AND winning spooked those old farts that much

I made this video about the Best Animated Feature Oscar in February 2023 and literally nothing has changed.

It's still terrible. At least this voter abstained.

Do not act so shocked at this. They confess this every Oscar season that I'm both numb at this and still call the voters morons.

Also, even if KPop Demon Hunters wins, I know it's gonna be for the wrong reasons being that it's the popular title without even watching it. And this isn't a knock on the film, it's just the sad truth given the voters admit they don't watch animated films.

You know, if they are not going to watch the movies they are supposed to be judging, then maybe they shouldn't be judges.

Fine, we dont need the ‘watching animation without a child gives me cooties’ crowd. Also amazing this is only coming up in the 'we actually have to watch every movie' year, easy to ‘catch up’ when you could just see Frozen and phone it in.

I think those particular Oscar voters need to be replaced.

Because singling out Cynthia Erivo and indeed all of Wicked: For Good based off of frankly racist vibes AND deliberately skipping voting for the Best Animated Feature category is unbelievably immature and unprofessional.

You know what?
Just pay me part of their salary & I'll watch the movies to vote. It's easier than them not wanting to do their job.
