Or it would be as soon as Ed opened his mouth. “Marry me,” Ed offered quietly in the dark. Stede’s hands paused for a second before he continued. “ You don’t mean that.” “Why not?” Ed tapped his fingers on Stede’s chest as he spoke. “They wouldn’t be able to force a bride on you if you were already married. I mean, yeah, not bloody optimal to have to be married to a man you just met to avoid marriage to someone else. But it has to be better than living on the run, right?” And, also, Ed was pretty sure he was falling totally and completely for this man. His dick was already there.
