The diffuse "anti-tail" falls apart in a few thousand kilometers, not 500,000 to a million.
The 3I Atlas anti-tail is unprecedented.
Probably because it was mislabeled online when I was looking for Larson-Sekanina images.
It's a mistake, but otherwise irrelevant. The point is how normal outgassing is affected by the solar wind in general, not the identity of the exact comet.
