For real. Girl, they are *not* going to vote for you if they hate us. But we will, if you protect us.

For real. Girl, they are *not* going to vote for you if they hate us. But we will, if you protect us.
which isn't an imposition if you want me to care about you too. If you think you can't do it, that's a *flaw in you*, not in *women*.
it's just flat out not difficult to get meaningful and intimate relationships if you're willing to be at all worthy of them.
But, within sex-positive, consent-based, risk-aware kink culture, I've still met men (completely cis, het, and like, into sports and shit) who fit the bill handily, because they took the time to *care*.
I am a pansexual woman. But I am pretty scared of cis straight men because many of them don't know how to negotiate, how to ask for consent, how to stay *within* boundaries, how to manage their own expectations and feelings, and don't seem to care very much about mine.
i actually legitimately know the trick if you're a dude and you want to get laid:
Learn about consent and consent culture. There are a *lot* of women interested in sex, but only with those who also take their concerns seriously. So just do that. it's not hard to treat people like people.
This was *SO* fun, and deeply moving, too. I loved how collaborative the system was, and how flexible @keichiokami.itch.io's storytelling style is to us going off in random new directions. Really proud to have participated in this stream!
SUPER COOL NEWS!
Saturdays @ 9am PT from 4/19, I'm in HELL WHALERS with @thetipsytiger.bsky.social! My sinful crew sets sail for redemption!
βThe safest road to hell is the gradual one - the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.β

Honestly super fair @.@ It's mostly a favorite of mine because if you spend even *a little* time with GI issues and then you know how precious a functioning GI
My favorite Jewish prayer is essentially thanking God/the Universe for a regular bowel movement because that is a prayer that *understands the human condition*
this, for real. My pastor told me at 15 that I would make a great priest and that I should consider catechism.
But I'm pretty sure I already knew by then just from reading the text that prosperity doctrine was an anti-Christian concept; that Jesus was an intersectional multiculturalist socialist.
At this point I am agnostic, but of all the Gods I don't believe in, I don't believe in the modern western Christian one the *most*. If I turn out to be wrong, I'll go to hell, and I'll consider it self-sacrifice for the worthy cause of being kind.
If Heaven's the way they teach, then everyone trying to get in is complicit in its iniquity. That scale and circumstance doesn't matter is *wrong*.
First, realizing that Western Christianity follows Antichrists who preach that you shouldn't shelter the stranger or love your neighbor, that wealth is a proxy for virtue, that sex work makes one valueless, that non-believers will not receive God's love, and so on.
Finally, I find the more modern Jewish approach that one's relationship with God is one's own, that what matters is the good you *do*. Tikkun Olam. That speaks to me. God can pass judgement when I'm dead. While I live, I'm going to try to live a life that leaves others better off for it.
Second, that if they're right, then God is a tyrant building Heaven through suffering, and *good* folk should *walk away from Omelas*.
with corn cream I'm guessing
(note, I don't want literally anyone who sees this to in any way misconstrue this as an excuse for being shitty to Cody, Katie, or anyone else involved, except maybe Warmbo)
My wife is the granddaughter of a holocaust survivor, and seeing the clip gives her an instinctive fight or flight response.
Again, good work, and this isn't a criticism of you or of your approach to comedy, just pointing out a difficulty with what may be a missing piece of your experience. I believe I remember that you have a Jewish writer, but not everyone responds the same way.
It's important, and mentioning it is important, but the visual coming out of nowhere also makes it really hard for us to get through these sections and focus on what you're saying through the panic of generational trauma, and we really want to hear what you have to say.
Hey so my family loves the showdy and we watch every episode and will continue to do so, and this ep is *great*, and we understand why you do this but...
Could you maybe not show the elon salute clip 3-10 times every video on today's politics?
My transition was one of two truly effective medical interventions in my life -- the other one being chemo for sarcoidosis. Both were lifesaving. I've had complications, but I have zero regrets.
If I lose access to my meds, my body will not produce T again, it will just make me sick.
So yeah. Please. If you care at all about the functioning of law, *be more scared of this shit, because it turns out law doesn't matter when the enforcers don't care.*
It is disingenuous and really naive to pretend that just because they're not *meant* to count as law, that we can pretend that he isn't functionally *legislating from the desk anyway*.
People are getting hurt, right now. It's going to keep getting worse. The system is *not functioning*.
The EOs saying that trans people are liars and there're only two genders and they're defined at birth are scientifically wrong, show discriminatory animus, and violate case law. And yet, HHS has a proposed rule using those contested EOs as justification to take away HRT from trans *adults*.
There is no recourse, and the Judiciary has no ability to ensure their judgements about the interpretation of the law are followed by the executive branch when implementing them, nor does the legislature have the practical ability to ensure their laws are implemented as intended.
This is both true and irrelevant. If the machine of government were working properly then it would matter, but every government institution is implementing these EOs as quickly as they are written, suits are filed, injunctions are raised, and the government just... ignores them.
Right, and the El Salvador concentration camp flights.
People have no clue what's really happening here. Lawyers are out there telling the guy about to shoot them "Um, actually, that would be illegal."
Moana 2 has a character named Matanga who has big Megora vibes and sings a gay anthem called "Get Lost" that sounds like an elder queer encouraging a younger queer to experiment and learn more about themselves and i have feelings and the movie is quite good actually
Rewatching Strange New Worlds: La'an Noonien-Singh and Christine Chapel are horror genre Final Girls trapped in a Star Trek @.@
also Chapel/Ortegas forever, ajsnekekeidnf
SNW was immediately my new favorite trek series upon first watch, and that surprised me. I love it even more on the rewatch @.@
