Being nasty in general about the ship.

It may be because I curate carefully and also I do not touch Twitter with a ten foot pole. But I just wanted to add that in my experience there is more “normal” shippers than crazy ones.

Charlastor shipper here who just started shipping it after reading fanfic back in October - I have yet to see many of these toxic shippers. If I did I would call them out IMMEDIATELY. I am a multishipper and don’t tolerate it. But I’ve only had one or two and more experiences with people (1/2)

Agreed. And I am way too old and tired for this, especially coming from a creator. I still love the source material and do not condone the harassment she gets, but for my own sanity I hold her and people like her at arms length.

As someone who does like Lu&Lil (as well as Radioapple) I just wanted to tell you that you are SO valid. I know that it is hard to open up in this fandom because people get so judgmental about ships. But you are entitled to your HCs and there is NOTHING wrong with them! Sending you good vibes!

And this, my friends, is why I am treading VERY carefully in this fandom.

Both in personal life and in the world at large, I've had a lot of tragedy in the last year. Radiobelle and Hellaverse fanworks have LEGIT helped me through.

Just wanted to say bravo. We're fandom, not anyone's personal headcanon machines, nor are we babysitters. Everyone needs to curate their own experience, and if someone doesn't like it, they need to learn how to filter and find communities of what they DO like.
