A tiny addition to my #SOPs to #LOPs AutoMat script that allows switching between the #material sets with one click, especially if you use multiple renderers (or if you don't want to utilize the Collect node for example)

The app is not working, seeing the logo screen and that's it
To achieve this I took the X noise, delayed it for a fraction of second and then springed and gained it to get the Y rotational response. Same for the Y to RX noise. After some tinkering you can get something pretty natural. To make it even more realistic it should probably be one more noise of higher amplitude with some quantization to simulate more permanent camera shifts.
Getting some interesting results with #CHOPs for #camerashake. The main idea here is to re-use the positional noise for rotation to simulate the camera's inertia. #Houdini #animation

My #DAZ to #APEX tools for #Houdini 20.5 got quite a few updates meanwhile. Now it includes auto agent setup, a useful #Kinefx retargeting helper, and more QoL and procedural updates.

A little overview of using #transform attribute to precisely control #sweep in #houdini.
Just used sweep to model some organic stuff and dove a bit into the mechanics of it. Sweep is actually aware of many attributes, like trans, rot, orient, etc. So you have plenty of options, just read the docs :)

Working on this nice little thing for my local #Obsidian based #projectmanagement. Still #wip but I love it already.
This is an interactive chart in Obsidian based on the time-tracking data pulled from #ActivityWatch. Data filtered by timespan and keywords, granular enough to isolate any job track.
Easily replaceable with Proton, been using it for a few years. The only thing they lack by now is spreadsheets. Have never been using google logins, nobody should :)
Been using Keepass for almost 10 years, can recommend to everyone. No online data leaks, easy to sync using any service you use across your devices, autofill with kee browser extension, a choice of apps to choose to open kbdx data file on any OS + native android autofill.
Done quite a while ago in #C4D, ready to do even more fun in #Houdini now.
Love mechanics! In character rigs things are very typical, and the most of its life comes from the animation, but in mechanics it's all embedded in the architecture itself
