Grateful for the small things, big things, and everything in between.
Grateful today for my clients, the families who place their trust in me, and the colleagues who inspire my work every day. Honoring the resilience and enduring strength of Indigenous peoples as we reflect and give thanks. Wishing everyone a peaceful and meaningful Thanksgiving. π§‘

This 4th of July, we reflect on the promise of liberty and justiceβnot yet fulfilled, but worth fighting for. We honor Indigenous peoples, immigrant roots, and our shared resistance to tyranny and hate. πΊπΈ

Today, we pause to honor those who lost their lives in service to our country. As we enjoy time with loved ones, letβs also remember the families who carry the weight of that loss every day. Their sacrifice is a reminder of the cost of freedomβand the strength of the human spirit.

As a Peruvian-American, Iβm proud of Pope Leo XIVβborn in Chicago, later a naturalized Peruvian. He served Peru with heart, including as Archbishop of Chiclayo. His first message was full of warmth. Wishing him strength as he leads the Catholic Church.
Thank you for good trouble, Senator Booker.

I evaluated a family who had applied for asylum and provided court testimony. I heard today that the petition was granted. I am grateful for the opportunities I have to make a difference in the lives of immigrant families through my career. We must preserve America as the land of hope.
I worked with an immigrant family and when I told them memories of my dadβs small farm when he was in the military and we were stationed in southern Peru (as a way to build rapport), they wanted to invite me to their farm so I could get some fruits and vegetables. Immigrants are good people.
Women drive progress and lead change, yet still face wage gaps, discrimination, and threats to autonomy. This #InternationalWomensDay letβs honor our impact and commit to a future where women are valued, protected, and empowered. #WomenLead #IWD
Good pilot. The βSomethingβs wrong with the left phalangeβ Friends episode came to mind.
What is happening is unreal. Iβve helped write so many transition plans in my career, so students with Individualized Education Plans can have outlined goals to prepare them for life after they graduate; employment, education, independent living. They need transition plans for better life outcomes.
Traveling to Seattle to attend leadership meetings and the National Association of School Psychologists Convention. As the Florida Delegate, I will continue to advocate for public education and the well-being of students of all backgrounds. #NASP2025 #CatalystsInAction
Pete, you could do daily briefings and expose the truth about what is happening. You are trusted.
Happy birthday!π
So grateful to the Black community who are putting out messages in support of the Latino community. Someone said, βthese people are my people and we stand with you.β Thank you ππ½βπ½
Ten days in, and the exhaustion is real. The relentless cycle of incompetence, blame-shifting, and attacksβon immigrants, on diversity, equity, and inclusion, on basic decencyβfeels like a never-ending storm. I stay grounded by focusing on the incredible people we fight for.
I evaluated a child with an IEP and medical needs so they could get immigration relief. Today, he was sworn as U.S. citizen. I love our country and I am glad that I can use my training to help families. Itβs a good day.πΊπΈπ½
Seeing immigrants handcuffed and chained like criminals is heartbreaking. The vast majority are here to work and contribute with their talents and culture. Some left horrific wars and persecution, yet they are resilient.
Please use your platform to speak up against cruel treatment of immigrants.

Weβre in a marathon, not a sprint. Letβs stay focused, avoid overreacting, and keep our minds healthy. Together, with collective strength, we can face whatβs ahead. π #Community #Resilience

Spent part of the day watching dog videos streamed on 1/20 by @meidastouch.com. Nice way to raise money for the Humane Society Emergency Animal Relief Fund. We really enjoyed todayβs programming.
ICE is planning immigration raids starting Tuesday. Please amplify.
I used to live in Orlando and still have an office there. Used to go to Mt. Dora a lot. Nice town!
Florida? How do I not know the recipe?
