Lexicon documentation and governance though... we need documentation norms. I'd hate for an exponential explosion in undocumented lexicons to overwhelm the landscape if we can get documentation to be generated with it.

I'm not sure who builds these codegen sites or how but I imagine low hanging might be wrapping a cheap high performing model like the latest qwen in a Claude Code type environment with an atprotated interface. I could see this being hosted with/behind a pds with a file server sidecar for deployment.
I'm diving into codegen for then first time right now and am finding there's barely any infra for Claude Code to do stuff with. Experimenting with building skills and defining a stack for general atproto+local first single page apps. If it works out, will also test with the latest qwen model.
It goes to a spreadsheet that only a tight circle of team members have access to and we'll be contacting y'all based on your interest in participation soon.
It could have been our generation's mid-century modern if it'd been allowed to cook a bit longer.

How do we get to more than just three web engines owned by three US companies?
It's a gargantuan question, with no easy or right answer.
I've put together a draft report, thinking about it through a very specific approach - please enjoy:

We really like that our acronym is accidently EAR. Because we're listening.
So, we're EARs? I guess? ๐ฆป
The first at://news weather report is here, learn about what happened across the atmosphere this week and how we are exploring how to collectively-source future newsletters with your help!
That aesthetic was so short lived.
Bots? What is it?
It's the follow back for me.
This is absolutely relevant to our interests. The initial question at the top of this thread even is one of the prime questions we're exploring. @wake.st, would you be interested in getting involved in some way? Even if just for a conversation? tally.so/r/A7LRbe
There should be like, keyword mute widgets we can share. Kinda like personal labelers, but directly to keyword mute.
I talk about this a lot! Click this to mute me only for that!
The US military has drooled over AI robots and weapons for 60 years, and have been the primary funders of it's development. Here is Alan Kay's recount of meeting generals in the 60's...

I wrote a blogpost on this: "The first AI agent worm is months away, if that" dustycloud.org/blog/the-fir...
I am convinced we are on the verge of the first "AI agent worm". This looks like the closest hint of it, though it isn't it quite itself: an attack on a PR agent that got it to set up to install openclaw with full access on 4k machines grith.ai/blog/clineje...
This is brilliant. And when the streamplace integration lands? Zomg. Not to mention... and then.... but also.....
Roomy is gonna be such a powerful tool.
Makes me wonder about what the needs are for mutual aid practices and how those could fit in.
Now that you mention h4-h6 though...
I never use h1, so h2-h4 would be ideal. I can't imagine anyone every needing h5 or h6 though, right?
I feel like I missed some drama today.
Awesome! Which pds did you deploy?
Same, and now it's an aspiration.
Weather forecast for New England. This weekend: potential snowstorm. Summer by Wednesday.
The world of technology is shifting rapidly, and so is the world of media, creators and journalism. It's hard to keep up with, and even harder to predict.
My strong belief, though, is that open software you own and control is going to be even more important in the future than it is now.
Today @ghost.org crossed $10M ARR, as a bootstrapped non-profit foundation building open source software.
Indie publisher revenue earned with Ghost now ~$130M, and accelerating.
Yes! If you only have time to read one post today - I would vote for this ๐
Feels like it caught me. ๐
The link button at the top to part one is the edit link. I almost accidently deleted stuff. ๐ฌ
This is probably one of the most important issues in terms of labor, tech, UX, etc that the Atmosphere needs to solve (decentralized moderation). I would invite people to pay attention to what the @blackskyweb.xyz team and its community are doing and take notes.
