6.) Pflugerville school district elected anti-censorship candidates won all three contested races. In Plano, all candidates opposed to book bans won their races, establishing a clear anti-book banning majority.

2. Katy voters removed Board prez Victor Perez, who instituted book bans and transgender "notification" policies in which teachers had to report to parents if a student was transgender. Removed 100s of LGBTQIA+ books. And is now out of a job.

1.) Fort Bend voters removed Rick Garcia, who voted for one of the state's most restrictive book policies, along w/Cheryl Buford, acolyte of the board member who built the policy and supporter of book bans.

Silver lining is that if there are any holdout Dem voters who wanted to give establishment politicians a chance, they've now viewed the greatest advertisement for a transformation of the Democratic Party.

@amyklobuchar.com and Tina Smith voted no. Grateful that they have done their job to represent the interests of their states.

However, we need new leadership. @schumer.senate.gov has not done his job and is not half as enraged as the voters who let you know last week that they want you to fight.

if @shaheen.senate.gov accepts promises from the GOP, she isn't fit for her job.

In case you were on the fence about whether it's time to move away from @democrats.org politicians like @hassan.senate.gov @shaheen.senate.gov and @kaine.senate.gov, consider how enraged you are in this moment. Then consider how untroubled the people bound to represent our interests are.

Guaranteed by whom? @shaheen.senate.gov is misrepresenting this. There is absolutely nothing binding the GOP to hold this vote. This is a betrayal to all the Americans whose lives have been substantially impacted by the shutdown but who still urged you to fight for them. Retire.

I'm tired of being pitched "branding." We elected these individuals to zealously represent us. We showed last week that we are enraged. We need to purge the Democrat ranks of people like @kaine.senate.gov and @hassan.senate.gov.

"Shame on you?" This speech is utterly disqualifying. A coward who couldn't meet the moment.
