pothole is in fact still there
@vinbarone.bsky.social I know many folks at DOT care deeply about this stuff - but this falsified response is below what we both expect. Can you look into this?
I've resubmitted as a pothole report (DM2026066030) even though failed street repair is more appropriate.

I didnβt report it because the car had headlights on when I checked 5 min later, but the driver deserved a ticket.
27 speed tickets. 7 red light. $3.7k in judgement.

Iβm sure this βfailed street repairβ is still there 18 hours later exactly where I reported it in the crosswalk on the east side of 30th and 8th Ave. 311-26684380

This is the right way to handle sidewalk parking: Windshield Boots immediately, then steadily tow vehicles away (towing is a slow process)

The right way to handle this is "resigning isn't enough - she is still liable for her illegal actions" which is the path to create accountability.

Schumer is wrong again here - it's a problem of policy AND personnel.
It's like he is saying "see it wouldn't matter if we Impeached Secretary Noem because it's a policy issue not a personnel issue"

Now is the time for the House to force a vote on Impeaching Noem.
Democrats have got to start taking votes if we want the next impeachment vote to be easier.

Least you think I have it all figured out, NYPD closed this complaint of this vehicle 5 feet onto the sidewalk in two minutes without responding. 311-26679878
It is illegal and unambiguous that drivers may not park on the sidewalk in any circumstance.

yes - it's just one data point (with it's own material caveats) - but I'm trying to report the data not an interpretation of it.
I'll also continue to encourage your or anyone else that documents an improper response to take it to NYPD Internal Affairs.

It's especially evil since this isn't even a legal war by any internationally accepted definition of the term. This is murder and if you find yourself trying to justify the killing of *kids in school* you need to take a long, hard look in the mirror at what you've become.

I've spoken to folks who are justifying this stuff in the same way they justify Israeli attacks on Gazans: "Did you know the Iranians hide weapons and soldiers in hospitals and schools?!?" It doesn't fucking matter. Targeting innocents is a war crime.

While not a new record in terms of % of summons issued - NYPD also issued (or said they issued) >1k of summonses in response to blocked sidewalk reports. (1036 vs a previous record of 877).
This is measuring responses to 311 - not the actual number of summonses (which should be way way higher)

I'm measuring the minutia here but NYPD + NYPD Traffic hit a new record recording summons issued in 11.8% of blocked bike lane reports in Febuary (122 of 1032).

I will not support vigilantism; what we need is a fine higher than $115 (and especially a fine that increases for repeat violations)
