I said goodbye to Tortuga on Thursday night. I couldn't have asked for a better companion these last almost 13 years. Everything feels so empty right now, but her love was worth this heartache. Thank you for everything, Tortuga.

I've never been more disappointed by celebrity news not being about their death.

The new starters are basically an Angry Bird, a Pomeranian, and a Funko Pop and we all know they're all going to eventually turn into a person. I think I may go with the Angry Bird this time just because of it's name.

I would HIGHLY recommend the offering at Kachka Fabrika! (Clam Chowder Vareniki, so far it's the one I would do a repeat outing for.) It was very cozy and paired quite well with their house distilled horseradish vodka!

Dumpling #3 Nice Time Korean Ragu Ravioli Cheese-filled ravioli tossed in a slow-simmered pork and beef ragu infused with Korean gochujang — rich, creamy, savory, and gently spicy.

Dumpling #2 Mama Chow's Kitchen Curry Chicken Wonton Turmeric, bonito bone broth, daikon radish, bok choy, green onion curl, red chili thread.

It's Dumpling Week again. Dumpling #1 Kachka Chicken Pel-migiana Fried chicken pelmeni dumplings smothered in satsebeli walnut marinara, smoked sulguni cheese, and basil. Accompanying drink: Pine Needle Soda
