Iβm glad someone said this to his face and more of these CEOs need to hear it: If the conversation around tech seems negative now itβs because you, your products, and what theyβre doing to our society fucking sucks. You stopped making optimistic technology and unleashed MechaHitler the job killer.

The manosphere is preparing these men for lives of loud desperation.
They'll never be happy, it'll be entirely their own faults, and they will never, ever stop complaining about the shitty hand they dealt themselves while blaming women for not wanting to be with their gross selves.
It's hilarious that "working class" now applies exclusively to the racist failsons of regional car dealership owners but every unemployed trans person is an "elite".
I added this description after some good faith discussions: "News outlets in this starter pack explicitly avoid the use of AI-generated text, images, videos, and audio. To be included, clear documentation must be provided via publicly available editorial policies or statements by leadership."
Thanks so much for coming!

BTW 2: While these webinars focus on queer and trans issues in Canada, the lessons they teach are broadly applicable in the UK, US, and elsewhere.
There's a lot to be learned about what works, what doesn't, and how we can work collectively to ensure a safer and more equitable future is possible.
BTW: I've attended a couple of these webinars, and they've all been fantastic.

Yes, I know. It's why I haven't been able to visit my elderly in-laws in years.
We can give stats on the number of trans women who have posed any actual threat at all (a statistically insignificant number) or the number of cis men who attack women in public restrooms (also rare), or we can talk about who is actually harmed: pretty much everyone.
Of course, far more cis people are transvestigated in public restrooms than trans.
Ask any cis lesbian or even cishet woman with shorter haircuts how often someone has tried to chase them out.
Antitrans policies make *everyone* less safe.
Isn't that more important than harassing 0.05% of the pop?
There's no use in combatting a bigot's specious argument. By even engaging, you're giving it weight.
Instead, reframe it in a way that actually gets to the heart of the issue: who is harmed and why that matters.
Bigots ranting about who has the right to public restrooms isn't about βprotecting (cis) women.β
Itβs about denying access to safe facilities for vulnerable people who just want to live, work, and move through the world with the same right to dignity.
Safety and freedom belong to all of us.
Their disregard of trans masculine people and utter dismissal of nonbinary people is also violent and renders us less safe.
We need solidarity to combat these narratives and to reframe them on terms.
While I hate being instrumentalized in bad faith arguments, I must begrudgingly admit that his sputtering confusion is amusing.
Our relative invisibility in public discourse isn't a shield -- it offers no protection -- especially when it's weaponized to legitimize the harassment of trans women.

Holy shit
So will the fact that my email address is my domain.
At least they provide alt text. That's promising.
I should look into a refund as well.
