Fingers crossed I finally found a decent therapist. We'll see.

I hate that I'm ordering pizza not as a treat but because I'm defeated by the thought of having to cook for the next two days.
Hate being tired all the time. Got shit to do.

Still no long term stream plans but I may make a handful of exceptions for specific games. Really want to try Esoteric Ebb.
Something like 6% of streamers are partner. It's wildly difficult by design. Keep doing what you enjoy.
Good morning! Join me for a cozy stream with more KOTOR2! Iβll start a little after 10AM Pacific! You will (not) find your socks www.twitch.tv/cidermarten
So the Win12 slop story was likely slop itself, which I mildly suspected. If I were a tech giant looking out at what I had wrought on the economy by buying up all the hardware for the next N years, I'd think twice about releasing anything at all for a while.
Windows 12 built heavily on AI, will require NPUs that no one can afford thanks to AI. Masterful gambit.
I'm supposed to go back to my high cognitive workload while listening to my coworkers talk about how great AI is
I'm also running on two hours of sleep
I try not to bring up reality too often here but god I'm so fucking tired of being expected to act like nothing's happening
Y'know, in case anyone is still keeping score.
LOW POLY RAT!!!!
Not in blender but in PicoCAD because I love that little software
It doesn't make me any more enthusiastic about streaming again, or less worried about the general push on all platforms to produce government-friendly "content" over art. But it's something people might find useful, and it's all I have to give back right now.
For context, I spent most of Feb crash coursing Svelte and Typescript to mock up a stream bot app that I've been wanting to make for years. Still very early on, but it's been rewarding, and it's helping me branch out my skill set into things I'm more interested in.
Really hard to stay motivated when everything that I enjoy doing is somehow connected to a massive conglomerate that will sell my data to secret police. Maybe I should just go back to making things out of wood.
umm she's all whiskers
Charmed and fascinated by Chess Wars, a DOS game released in 1996 that features live-action cutscenes of medieval melee when playing pieces engage one another in battle.
The game has its issues but it's still a shame Mega Man & Bass never got a proper release here.
The last ten years feel like one long trauma response.
Honestly I've noodled on and off over the years so I'm basically starting from scratch myself. Still have my ancient Hal Leonard books, but pretty much everything is videos and apps now. I'd say pick a lesson and just go. Start slow and focus on good posture.
I've been quiet lately but that's mostly because I finally have the time to do house repairs and dental work and a bunch of other stuff that needed doing. Will have some other updates soon-ish.
Often headlines are sensationalist. But if you read the article, it's even worse than the headline suggests.
If you're a furry who still uses tiktok, you are actively hurting other furries. Get off of tiktok. Now.
I shouldn't feel this old at 49.
Good to know that my gut feeling of Wild Assault being a shady product proved me right.
8 bit screenshot from the original Legend of Zelda. An old man stands between two burning torches inside a dark cave. On the screen in white block letters are the words, It is dangerous to go alone. Take this. Link, in a green tunic and cap, faces the old man as a wooden sword is offered to him. The cave walls are red and patterned in a repeating pixel design.
The Legend of Zelda is 40 years old today. It came out in 1986 for the NES, and when it showed up at friendβs place, you knew it. We all gathered around the TV, someone had a notebook for secrets and maps, and afternoons turned into an adventures.

Storyboard Animatic for Slade's Results screen for Rivals of Aether 2! π¦
Having helped co-create him, it was great to get to draw him once again since previously working on Dungeons on Aether!
dunno how much my furry audience and rat audience overlap but I'm at NFC and am putting some rat paw paintings in the charity auction! The charity, RΓ₯tthjΓ€lpen, is for helping rodents so it's extra special!
"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" in Ltt Recoleta font.
I'm developing an irrational hatred for this font. I couldn't tell you why other than I just see it and its variants everywhere now.
