The gameplan mainly revolves around prepping Pouncing Couerl. Once that's ready you can Wind's Reply + Rising Pheonix into the gcd and then quickly Rising Pheonix + LB to guarantee a buffed Phantom Rush for massive damage.

SE is known to make practically bizzare, unrelated changes to pvp stuff for a while. Most of us just cope with it and adapt to the meta changes, unfortunately. The steep changes are mainly because they match the pvp patch cadence with the pve patch cadence which does not mesh with the niche.

Ranged classes--especially bards--have the luxury to stick with the team and lock down a melee's attempts to engage which will cost them mana and possibly their lives if they don't back out quick enough.

Because in higher ranked levels melee are actually very easy to be cc locked by a ranged team which reduces their effectiveness. If a melee is called when they when they're even slightly away from the team, then they have to use all of their resources just to survive.

Should be a menace in solo q now lol. Minor adjustments and you'll hit like a truck optimally

Flame's Reply is what replaces Flint Strike now. It's still there you just don't have to prime it with Pheonix
