The showcase was fantastic! So much talent! Congrats to you all! Well deserved! Thank you again, Mindy, Sylvia, Brittany, Marietta, Aixa, and Jenna. Your support and time is amazing. It was a “not yet” for me this year but can’t wait to try again next year! Unless I’m rep’d before then! 😉
They look like alligator or bullfrog eyes peeking out 🤣
Great turnout! #50PreciousWords
I just read your tips for using quotes in NF! Interestingly, I had just been thinking on my drive home today that I should learn more about writing NF & voila!Your post came across my feed! I guess that’s my cue to follow thru with my idea! Thanks! Very informative!
Yes!!!!🥰
Yes, there are always bright horizons ahead! Love your perspective! So true!
I realized that my longest writer’s blocks came after a “no”and it was hard to get going again. So, I decided to always start something while I was still full of hope and inspiration so if/when the “no” came, I’d think, “That’s fine. I’ve got this awesome thing I’m rt in the middle of anyway.” Jk🤣😂😉
🌟I actually always start a new PB ahead of contest result reveals. There’s a feeling of excitement when writing something new so I’ll be less focused on a ‘no’.
🌟I also remind myself that I’ve been thru many writing downs before & I not only got thru just fine but wound up a stronger writer for it.
🌟That I couldn’t do it alone!
I wish I knew how much more I’d learn once I joined the supportive writing community and started giving and getting feedback! 🎉
Phew! Got my entry in just under the wire for #50PreciousWords contest.
