I reckon that it’s better for my headspace to only post my stuff on my blog and my furaffinity page.
I feel like it takes me forever to pull my mind back to reality (and work) after I swipe on any social media platform.
I still see friends update on weekly basis so am not deleting account.

Non-capitalized “shu” is on purpose. It feels more balanced visually and I prefer low-key.

The new logo design consists of several elements: simple geometric shape, lightning, digitigrade, S from shu. I’m pretty satisfied with the design even though I’m definitely not a logo design expert myself.
At this point my crop top shirt logo is finally determined instead of some random drawings.
The jogging outfit was a whim made by @/kyubbiarts.bsky.social back in 2022, which I fell in love with instantly.
Then in last year I asked @/marrowsoup.bsky.social to draw it again for me but with different posture, and the result is stunning!
I love the mixture of sport and femboy look.

This can not be stressed enough. I actually can feel that my overall well-being is improving when I make myself the top priority.
There are still rooms for improvement, but I think I handle myself pretty well.
Friends are still essential to me, so I’ll see what I can do with it next.

Well, the asynchronous nature of interaction through internet is what bothers me the most.
You don’t know when your post will receive a like or text from whom; you don’t know when your message will be read or responded.
You have no control. You are playing with a jackpot machine. You win little.
When I were still active on Twitter, I used to enjoy sharing my daily life and feel happy about receiving the likes. Now I just don’t find a good reason to share on Twitter (and here).
Maybe cuz my experience on Twitter and here is not as good, and the algorithm would just wash down my post anyway.
Not having much energy to socialize in furry fandom tbh.
I still enjoy hanging out / chatting with furs that I know well, I just feel a bit aimless and felt meh meeting new fur friends.
I feel that it’s enough to just stay connected with known / close fur friends, and spend most time with myself.
A bit too digressing so I just want to thank the past me created a grey fox for me.
This grey fox has been bringing me an alternative, but way more interesting and meaningful life encounters, whether happy ones or sad ones.
There will be more stories of him for sure, as life goes on.
I can’t see myself interacting with them without confusion.
I know their way of treating their character is totally valid. It’s just not my thing. I don’t cherish Fidget as much as Shu. The fursuit is beautiful yes, but it’s merely a gateway for me to be a silly fox and teasing horrified strangers.
I always have to think twice when I perceive such artwork from who I’m familiar with personally. Are their character them? Or it’s just a dummy character for their own pleasure? Like uchinoko (うちの子) means “my child” in Japanese, and they have a very strict line between their child and themselves.
I always wonder what’s in their mind when they receive their artwork. Their characters being intimate means they are intimate in real life, right? Are they happy with the result if they’re not intimate in person?
Maybe it’s for the sexual pleasure when viewing? They’re not their characters perhaps.
It always confuse me to see my furry friends seem to be happy with their character being drawn and not fitting their personality at all. Maybe their happiness is just a courtesy of receiving an artist’s work?
It confuses me a lot more when I see their characters been drawn in a more intimate scene.
The fact that Shu is me in my mind makes this grey fox character very personal.
Shu is introvert means I am introvert. Shu having emotions mean me having them. My fursona is not a manifest of escapism, but a realization of me. I’d rather be a grey fox anthro than a human in reality if possible.
I have been wondering about one thing for so long:
Many furries seem to be okay with creating (or commissioning) a fursona that doesn’t resemble them, whether body type, height, outfit, personality, expression, etc..
While I have Fidget fox and yes I enjoy suiting them, Fidget is not me. Shu is. 🧵
10. Just cuddles in a cozy place.
I’m a tactile fox; while also I am pretty picky about who to touch. It’s more about being physically and mentally comfortable with cuddling with a specific person (most likely a furry).
Once the threshold is through, I will think about the cuddling all the time.
9. Introspective.
This quality I have since high school was what I dislike for a long while. It’s only when I read a book talking about introverts and their advantages that I gradually learn to understand and harness its power. That book is a game changer to me.
8. Lack of motivation at times.
I know it’s okay to take it easy, but really there’s nothing much I’m deeply interested in atm. Most of the time things feel meh to me, which I don’t like, because it makes me less interesting to others.

12) I have a rather cozy place to live in. Friends can hangout at my place, and I’m surrounded by furry stuff. I can revisit the furry stuff whenever I want to, and I can redesign the interior if I feel like to.

10) I know starting with failure is the essence to achieve anything. As long as failure is controllable, failure should be the first item of the checklist.

7) I don’t have to worry about my current job, they pay is okay, the atmosphere is nice within the team I belong to, the managers are knowledgeable and easy to communicate, the job itself is what I like to do.
