Spent a bit of time doing a bit of figure studies tonight! Ended up turning a handful of them into Blu and Bod! Gotta love my heeps on the soft bois!

But then on the flipside, go through any of the countdown sequences in a RE game. Not only are you watching the timer tick down, usually you have a final confrontation with the main boss/monster at the same time. It manages to ratchet that tension meter up to 101 with the stakes at hand.

Yeah I couldn't agree more. I've criticized a lot of those games for ages on especially the instant kill chases/mechanics. Having moments where all you can do is run away on a chase that also has wrong turns sucks. It just drains any sort of tension, especially if the player restarts 5+ times...

Yeah I land in the exact same boat. For me a lot of those games just either have just a lot of forced depth (Lore stuff), or just no mechanical depth at all to keep me interested. The only game that has sort of come close was Routine recently for me, and it did such a great job with it's atmosphere.

Usually for working out I'd say to try and get a consistant 2-3 days a week with break days for recovery in between. Especially starting out! I'd very much say initially to just get in there and start slow. Work on building a bit of cardio, start off with light weights, build the routine!

Looking at your "Want to play in future" I was going to say that Signalis from that list would fit in really well for the others you liked. I'd heavily recommend it!! It's been far and above one of my fav survival horror games in the last decade.

Ahhh this is such a good list Squish!! Pretty much everything lines up with where I'd put my views on the same games (Especially that bottom tier XD).

Legit the designs are the equivalent of a kid taking a pokemon design, and drawing extra spikes or wings on it. They are legit copy and past designs with no work at changing it up whatsoever haha. The fact that they had roadhog in there also cracks me up.
