I’m reminded of how Enterprise was marketed as “NOT YOUR DADDY’S STAR TREK”, but when I finally Netflixed the DVDs, Berman & Braga sounded SO old and tired and out of touch on the commentaries - you can tell they at least sincerely tried, but they just didn’t have it in them to make a relevant show.

Funny thing about this.

Most non-English language versions of the title are either The Tholian Web or The Spider's Web. Both cool, simple titles, and both relate to this iconic image.

Not so for Japan. They called it "The Peril of Captain Kirk! Who Was Trapped In Different-Dimension Space!"
