Happy birthday Sally!
Here's what I say about you and your work in the dev commentary for No Rest for the Wicked π I loved working with you for both that game and TWoAF.

My daughter found a game breaking bug in Nebraska Smith, and I don't know how to reproduce it. Ah, the joys of gamedev.
Same for Italian!

I think I'll be able to release my Jampilation - as well as the dev commentary DLC - before end of March.
I might need some testers soon. If anyone is interested, you can contact me on Discord.
A new law is being discussed that would outlaw horse meat for human consumption in Italy.
And since I'm Cagliari I might as well enjoy my last one before it's too late

Aaaand finished.
And most importantly, REVIEWED. Don't forget to review your Steam games, folks. It helps with visibility!
I finished it today π I'm safe!
Shadow of the Afterland - 2.5hrs in, and the plot thickens!
I knew it has a possession mechanism and I was looking forward to it, but now I wonder if this sentence was intentional π€£
Anyway... absolutely recommended, get it ASAP

OMG my first reference in another adventure game π₯² thanks @arumastudios.bsky.social , you made a grown man shed a tear of joy
Aaaaalmost done with the developer commentary for Jampilation.
I have to revise text a bit, then record my lines, and then test test test and test.
I think I'm in good shape to release before end of next month!
@arumastudios.bsky.social let's see how this goes!
Oh no, gotta play it fast before you start streaming it!
I'm revisiting the code for Dinner at the Gugas for the Jampilation and I'm thinking I really need to do another game like that, a simple "choose your own adventure" where every choice affects what will happen in the future.
For a game made in 7 days, it wasn't that bad.
At my town's costume parade, ready to pass in front of the retirement home to remind them what's coming
While writing commentary for Eulogy For Nonno I discovered a bug in my infrastructure and now I have to fix all my other PowerQuest games π© I thought I was basically done!
#gamedev giveth and gamedev taketh away.
While extending Eulogy For Nonno to include developer commentary, I messed up the translations in the options GUI π€£
I just finished the dev commentary on Death of Fo-Gu, part of the Adventure Jampilation I'll be releasing *for free* on Steam in the next few weeks.
Only 3 games left to comment, then testing and I should be good to go!

Currently at the concert and... one of the violins just broke. It snapped, an enormous crack in the wood between the neck and the body. We're now waiting for someone to bring a substitute violin, but I can't help but feel I jinxed the whole thing by sponsoring it.
Tap water at my office tastes bouba while tap water at home tastes kiki
Checking old messages for my dev commentary of TWoAF (jam version), and I "discovered" something I had completely forgotten.
Artie was going to look much younger. He had hair. He was slim. But when @tallstorygames.bsky.social sent me the voice lines, the vibes were off, so I had to redo the sprites.
Unless the bubble bursts like NOW, I fear this might be the end of the Internet.
To be fair, however, I don't think humans were meant to be constantly connected and informed about everything going on everywhere. Maybe there's a silver lining to this.
Magari! Quella Γ¨ gente che ci si guadagna da vivere con l'attivitΓ , io sono mooooolto lontano π€£
My daughter's class organized a fundraiser concert and asked local businesses for sponsorship. Technically I *am* a local business, so... why not π
Now, I don't know where they got the logo from - I haven't been using that one since 2021, but hey, I'm on a flyer
It does! You can see for example in this playthrough of the fist game where I implemented it, at 1:26 the cursor for the TV or the beds switches from a magnifying glass to a wrench, but if the only action is look then it stays unchanged (the window)

This is why in my games the first click always works as a right click (except for doorways and other things where looking at makes no sense).
Then from the second click on, left click is interact and right click is once again an examine.
